About Workshops

This is the most comprehensive, thorough and cost-effective way to learn the process. 

Each in-person workshop provides:

• Insights into what admissions officers are seeking in candidates.
• The most impactful ways to narrate your story.
• Tips and essential information.
• Common myths and frequent student mistakes.
• Samples of effective essays.
• Brainstorming activities & format ideas.
• A workbook with checklists and tips.

• In-person workshops are conducted in Carlsbad & Irvine, CA. I am also available to present a workshop in your home or community clubhouse in San Diego or Orange County- you get to create the small group of attendees! • The workshops are designed to prepare students to write their essays without any further guidance from me. However, I am available by appointment for students who would like more support. If a workshop student desires further assistance, workshop attendees pay half my individual hourly rate.
